When you arrive for your initial visit, you will meet our provider who will conduct a comprehensive mental health assessment that includes medical history, social history and your presenting symptoms.

During your initial visit, it is imperative for the provider to have enough time to conduct detailed assessments to create an individualized treatment plan and goal for you. Your initial visit will take approximately 60 to 90 minutes.

We encourage you to bring a list of any current medications that you are taking, in addition to past medical records that include past mental health diagnoses and treatments.

There are some psychiatric diagnoses that require medications; however, medication is not always necessary for treatment of mental health condition. Based on the severity of certain mental health conditions and symptoms, medications can be recommended for treatment. Our provider can discuss your treatment options with you while addressing your questions and concerns.

The length of treatment differs for diverse individuals, as each person has his/her individualized journey, needs, and progress. Although some people may have significant improvement after few sessions, others may need long-term treatment and support. The goal of treatment is to help you to feel better and improve your quality of life.

We accept most insurance plans, and the cost of your visit depends on the type of service that you received. Our office accepts cash payment if you are paying out of pocket. The cash pay price can be discussed with the billing department.

Our office is not open 24/7 and we do not offer emergency services. If you are having suicidal thoughts or have a medical emergency, we encourage you to call 911. You can also reach out to the crisis hotline at 988 if you are in mental health crisis.
